I think I know that I’m a super genious. Why? Because this was one of the first posts that I wanted to make when I started DietCokeandHairspray up again, and I’ve been waiting until it happened to post about it!
Indian summer is kind of like a surprise on Christmas morning. Whenever it hits, it’s like I’ve already said my goodbye’s to summer and made my peace with the fact that I will, for the next 8ish months, be freezing my bum. Then BOOM! Nice sunny warm weather strikes again!
I guess that it’s not all too surprising, because living in Wyoming tends to lead to an Indian Summer half of the time. But I’m still excited when it happens!
In some places it can get quite beautiful, however, that is not the case in Wyoming. BUT! I still love it!
That is all!

Those guys are fun. I really want to go to a festival, and would LOVE to go on a ride, but I somehow miss the local festivities every year.
They make me happy in my guts, I think it’s because at the end of the BBC shows that I used to watch with my dad as a kid, there wa
s a hot air balloon. I dunno. (This is also the root of my love for Oatmeal Cream Pies.)
It seems like these festivals are pretty popular, there is one almost anywhere you’d want to go. Next year I want to plan to be able to go to the one locally and maybe even be able to travel somewhere for one as well!
Here’s to hoping I’ll be floating!

I mean, really…
I’ll be working twelve hour shifts the next two days sitting at the operators desk. Ugh. I don’t do anything but answer phones. I was not made for this. Hopefully it will give me the opportunity to think up something super great! If not… the next 20ish hours are going to be a complete and total waste!

Here’s what I’m thinking: I have a lot of attraction to three different areas that have very distinct styles.
1.) My celtic heritage.
2.) The 1940’s – 1950’s pin-up look.
3.) The Geisha. (Aside from the whole status f*ck thing…)
I am going to FIND a way to combine these three things into something glorius. It will be my new project. However, what this means is that I am going to have to spend a good deal of my time educating myself on what it means to be each of these things.
Now… Which to choose first? I don’t know if I am going to study it all in a jumbled mix or if I am going to study each element separatley. Oooo! This could get interesting! I’m excited, are you?
Stay tuned, because I will be updating my progress and findings in the days to come!

I’m a curious person, I always have a bunch of questions to ask about any given subject. Which led me to laying in my bathtub wondering things like the age-old “why does the water make my fingers wrinkle?” among others… so I did some research and this is what I found:
Q: How much water does the average bathtub hold?
A: Approximately 55-65 gallons. My fish tank is bigger than that! I could go swimming!
Q: How does soap get me clean?
A: The molecules of the soap attatch to non-polar molecules such as oil, and polar molecules such as water simultaneously. Soap mixed with water will suspend the particles of yuck on your body and flush them away when rinsed. The hydrocarbons dissovle the yuck and the ions make it water soluble. Soap is an emulsifier!
Fascinating!
Q: How long can the average person hold their breath under water?
A: 30-40 seconds.
Huh… seems low! I can hold mine around 90, and I know my lungs are bad!
Q: Where do rubber duckies come from?
A: Sesame street.
No! For reals! I’m sure that’s in a scientist book somewhere, and if it’s not, it should be because that’s the only answer I’ll accept!
Q: Why does water make my fingers and toes wrinkle?
A: Wrong! It’s not the water, it’s neurological evolution baby! You have to check out this link! Just do it…
That’s my favorite discovery!
It’s funny what you learn…

It’s dipping too far back to the 70’s (eek! The dreaded 90’s fashion is back up upon us. *gag* I didn’t like that crap IN the 90’s! Blast this being too fat for a whole entire fashion trend I’ve been waiting for to come back around!) for me, with all the oranges and wide bottom jeans (this inst Jr. High)… oh… and I’ve never like orange! (I think I included one picture with orange tights in it and I’d rather they were green.)
To be brutally honest, other than the Prada shoes, I’m not really in to anything I posted pictures of, it’s just what I could get behind the mostest.

This place is COOL!.
I found them in a search to find out who makes these wonderful Fig Bars that are in our vending machines at work. Not the same Nature’s Bakery but still a great find! Anyway, those suckers are DELICIOUS!
Yummo.
